US Army Corp of Engineer's Permit Re-authorized
We are very pleased to report receipt of our
wetland permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers, reauthorized on
10Jan13 under file # SPK-2009-01468. See the attached file with Corps
permit letter including details on mitigation and monitoring. Important
to note that in order to meet multi-agency requirements to minimize
impacts to fish and wildlife, all work in the Colorado River and
wetlands must be completed during the month of September and all work in
riparian areas (essentially the entire project area) should be
completed in September-November, and everything coordinated with
Colorado Parks and Wildlife (previously the Colorado Division of
Wildlife) who manage Pioneer Park as a State Wildlife Area. Additional
details will be included in the bid packets available soon.
